Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.53%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.53%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT), which rose 34.83% or 62.00 points to trade at 240.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) added 33.33% or 1.00 points to end at 4.00 and Terang Dunia Internusa PT (JK:UNTD) was up 30.61% or 30.00 points to 128.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pt Topindo Solusi Komunika (JK:TOSK), which fell 34.57% or 56.00 points to trade at 106.00 at the close. Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ADRO) declined 24.80% or 910.00 points to end at 2,760.00 and Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) was down 20.00% or 1.00 points to 4.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 375 to 209 and 251 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.39% or 0.27 to $68.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.37% or 0.27 to hit $72.03 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.70 to trade at $2,664.10 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.06% to 15,877.00, while AUD/IDR fell 0.14% to 10,296.10.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 106.32.
