Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.39%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.39% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 10.00% or 4.70 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) added 6.37% or 0.80 points to end at 13.36 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) was up 4.95% or 2.25 points to 47.75 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014), which fell 3.33% or 2.70 points to trade at 78.50 at the close. Nice One Beauty Digital Marketing (TADAWUL:4193) declined 2.91% or 1.70 points to end at 56.80 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) was down 2.60% or 2.60 points to 97.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 159 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.95% or 2.25 to 47.75.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.26% or 0.20 to $77.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $80.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.39 to trade at $2,747.31 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.51% to 3.87, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 108.90.
